AKA: The Corporate Hellscape Halloween Party

In recognition of the annual tradition wherein adults wear costumes to distract themselves from existential dread and Q4 targets, we will be hosting a Halloween Party.

Event Details:
Date: Saturday, November 1
Time: 8:00 PM - ?
Application fee (Mandatory donation): $25 to cover door expenses. Resumés also accepted.
Location: 1958 W Walnut (renamed "The Thematic Zone" for compliance reasons)

Agenda:
* Awkward arrival and overthinking of costume choices
* Eating orange-colored snacks and pretending we're not checking email
* Questionable decisions and ghosting (literal and figurative)

Some standardized alcohol (beer) will be provided but supply is not unlimited.

Other alcoholic decisions should be left to the sole discretion of the individual. BYO for anything other than cheap beer. Please refer to your standards manual for additional specifications.

Costume Guidelines:
Costumes are required. Interpret that however you like just remember that HR has no sense of humor and unlimited access to policy PDFs.

Activities:
* Costume Contest: First prize is a vague sense of superiority. Second prize is explaining your costume 30 times.
* Refreshments: Some food will be served, we strive to accomidate as many options as the corporate manual dictates.
* Also, we forgot to book the conference room. You'll figure it out.
* Themed" Food: There will be candy. No, we didn't get the good kind.

Attendance:
Not required, but everyone will notice if you don't show up. Especially Carol.
