His Holiness the 43rd Sakya Trizin Gyana Vajra Rinpoche will be visiting Seattle this December. On December 7, he will bestow the Vajrakilaya Torma Empowerment at the Lynwood Event Center. Vajrakilaya (the adamantine striker also known as Vajrakumara) is the embodiment of all the Buddhas enlightened activity as a wrathful deity for clearing the obstacles to enlightenment. Vajrakilaya Torma Empowerment in Seattle does not include the sacred Cham dance.

His Holiness is the present Throne Holder of the Sakya tradition and a leading master of the Khön lineage of Vajrakila. It is therefore an extraordinary blessing to receive the Vajrakila empowerment from him. His Holiness is bestowing the short torma empowerment that authorizes participants to practice a short daily sadhana and mantra of Vajrakilaya.
