The Sears & Roebuck Comedy Hour has been making audiences laugh since 1957, when The General Motors Variety Hour merged with comedians from Woolworth's Belly Laughs. Decade after decade of original comedy filled the east coast as this storied review grew in size and importance until the mid 90s when commercial joke shows waned in popularity as the onset of video games and reality tv loomed. Sears & Roebuck Comedy is the last retail-sponsored corporate comedy attraction in the lower forty eight states and it continues providing sizzling humor to South Jersey on July 19th. 2025. BYOB |
