A showcase public performance of all-original contemporary and traditional West African and African diasporic dance and music in collaboration with Gansango Dance and LANGSTON. Gansango presents dynamic group pieces that share the joy of movement, the creativity and authenticity of African culture, and feature the rich talent of local and visiting artists.
This year's show is the third performance of Africa Remix, following two prior successful public dance performances; Africa Remix 2017 and Africa Remix 2019, both organized in collaboration with LANGSTON and presented at Langston Hughes Performing Arts Institute. |
