Our hugely popular TALES FROM THE SHED for young children (0-5) and their families has returned--still live, immersive, and inclusive, but now online!
Your preschoolers will love Tales' puppetry, storytelling, music, movement, and theatre magic! Meet Chickenshed friends Lion Down, The Thing That Goes Blurgh!, and their friends. Using a secure online platform, our professional Teaching Artists will take your family on a great adventure--from Wherever You Are! And Chickenshed's inclusive methodology means that children of all abilities and backgrounds can play!
Our virtual doors open at 9:45 with pre-show activities, and we encourage you to sign on then. The show begins promptly at 10:00 AM, and for security purposes we will not be able to admit latecomers.
HOW TO LINK TO OUR SHOW: For security purposes, Chickenshed NYC uses a new link and password for each of our shows. Watch your email on the day prior to the performance for a message containing the link and password. If you do not receive this information by 5 PM on the day prior to the show, please email Ali@ChickenshedNYC.org.
A NOTE ABOUT SECURITY: Chickenshed NYC believes that the safety and security of our children is of the utmost priority. We have taken steps to make our Zoom platform as secure as possible. These steps include creating discrete links and passwords for each show, use of a waiting room and pre-show breakout rooms, and dedicated staff members who monitor all activity during the show to ensure that only authorized participants are present.
