The advanced improv online classes are for more experienced improvisers to continue to hone their skills. Ideal for long form performers and teams.
The advanced class will concentrate on playing scene-based work rather than short form games. We will experiment with longer forms of improvisation, and explore what the technology has to offer.
The advanced classes are for those with a minimum of 6 months regular improv practice, and those with long-form experience. If you are unsure if they are for you, please contact hello@emmabird.info
We will explore skills such as:
Narrative and non-narrative longer scenes
Characterisation
Editing
Identifying Themes
Heightening patterns and games
Longer form formats
If you are newer to improv, then the regular IMPROV ONLINE classes will be more suitable as those are designed for all levels from absolute beginners onwards.
