Thank you everyone for attending AAJA Photo Hangouts. If you have any questions, please feel free to send us a message. Hope to see you next year!

Coming to a personal screen near you...due to the covid-19 pandemic, we are going virtual this year. the AAJA PAG would like to invite you to our third ever "Photo Hangouts" where you get to learn from some of the top editorial photographers in the US (and this year, Hong Kong), see their work and listen to the stories behind the images.

The Asian American Journalists Association (AAJA) is a non-profit organization committed to ensuring a fair representation of Asian Americans in the work place and in the media. The Photojournalists Affinity Group (PAG) is a sub group of AAJA and is focused on supporting and providing guidance to photojournalists and documentary photographers with educational programs and mentors to help further their careers.

Photo Hangouts was created to educate, motivate and inspire photographers who are interested in pursuing careers in editorial and/or documentary photography. These Photo Hangouts were made possible by the Pulitzer Center, which promotes in-depth engagement with global affairs through its support of quality international journalism across all media platforms and an innovative program of outreach and education.

We brought together some of the best editorial photographers in the country to share their knowledge and experience to help you tell better stories. Each session is 60 minutes long - approximately 40 minute presentation from our esteemed photographers, followed by Q&As.
