CORNINGWORKS: THE TIPPING POINT - what will it take for YOU to leave home?

An artistic collaboration with the international humanitarian organization, Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières, THE TIPPING POINT is a visceral, sensory, provocative, shared experience that uplifts human consciousness at a time of crisis, an emotional response; a wake-up call to the world around us. This multi-disciplinary, intimately sized, raw, audience-immersive production taps the growing global refugee experience in an attempt to personalize the headlines to offer up a tangible WHAT IF experience less about them & more about how this could be us.

THE TIPPING POINT re-imagines DOCTORS WITHOUT BORDERS critically acclaimed touring exhibition, FORCED FROM HOME, with movement, a theatrically immersive set, powerful projections, a unique cast of 12 local dancer/actors, and an international group of re-settled refugees sharing vulnerable testimonies.

The expanded 2 week performance schedule (wed - sun) includes:
10 performances created for intimate sized groups of 20 per time slot / 40 per evening.

The production's creative team consists of some of Pittsburghs TOP designers and directors including Stephanie Mayer-Staley, Gab Cody, Joe Spinogatti, along with Corningworks long-time lighting designer, Iain Court.

NOTE:
This production is suitable for ages 16 & up.
This production may be difficult for patrons with mobility issues, as it requires audience to move up and down stairs and through uneven terrain.

I hereby release CORNINGWORKS, HEARCORP, CARRICK 25, its owners, agents and employees, from any and all liability for damage and personal injury to me that may arise from my participation in this audience-immersive production. I specifically release the Released Parties for any claims related to their negligence, that is, their failure to use reasonable care in any way in the design or operation of this production.
