Pitch in to clean up Seahurst Park! All ages can join in the Ocean Conservancys worldwide effort to remove harmful, unwanted marine debris. We will have bags, litter sticks and gloves, but bringing your own, or a bucket, can be helpful. Smartphone users can download the Clean Swell app to track what they find instead of tallying on paper. Afterward, we will weigh what we collect and add some funky finds to the Salmon Trash Sculpture next to our building.
Meet at ESC at the north end of Seahurst Park:
Follow the gravel path past the restrooms/playground. We're on the right before the Marine Tech Center. It may take 10 minutes to get to us, but someone will be at the center all morning if you arrive after 10 am. |
