Comedy Evening is a free comedy show every Friday at 7:30pm in the West Village at Oppa, conveniently located right near the ABCDF West 4th St subway stop and the 1 Christopher St Subway stop. A different lineup of comics every week who have appeared on Comedy Central, NBC, the New York Comedy Festival and clubs all across the city.
The show takes place in the downstairs/basement lounge of the venue. Please note that you must be 21+ to attend as the venue is a bar. While there is no cover or item minimum for the show, it is recommended that you get a drink (soda, beer, wine, etc.) or food item to support the bar and help keep the show free.
Seating for the show starts at 7pm with the show starting at 7:30pm. Seating is limited so it is advisable that you get there before the show starts. Feel free to drop by Oppa/karaouke lounge before 7pm to enjoy the happy hour specials: $5 beer/$4 wines/$4 well drinks, $6 wings, $4 fries.
