This tour takes our guests on a walkabout through the Tucson of the 1870's & 80's as seen through the eyes of saloonkeeper, George Hand. We use old photographs, sketches, & maps to locate important historical sites, and excerpts from Mr. Hand's diary to learn about the fascinating people and events associated with these places 140-some years ago.
Lunch at an historic site, such as Maynards Market & Kitchen in the historic train depot, is included, as are streetcar day tickets, and admission to the El Presidio del Tucson. This tour is about 3.5 hours plus lunch and we walk about 2.5 miles, occasionally hopping on and off the Modern Streetcar. |
