Accommodations
The reunion planning committee has selected the Hilton Garden Inn, in Twinsburg as our host hotel for the family reunion. The Hilton offers a central location that's near great restaurants, shopping centers and recreation. Please note: You are responsible for reserving your hotel accomodations as this is separate from the event fee.

This a gathering to bring the descendants of Elizabeth Hawthorn (b. 1805, m. 1819); her sons Samuel Hawthorn (b. 1822), Wilson Hawthorn (b. 1822) and Rufus (aka Rubin) Hawthorn (b. 1844) of the region known as Southside Virginia (otherwise known as the counties of Amelia, Appomattox, Bedford, Brunswick, Buckingham, Campbell, Charlotte, Cumberland, Dinwiddie, Greensville, Halifax, Henry, Lunenburg, Mecklenburg, Nottoway, Patrick, Powhatan, Pittsylvania, and Prince Edward). We are committed to annually/bi-annually gathering together at a common meeting place to rediscover our family history and build a legacy for the generations to come. All (family and friends) are welcome to join us in our celebration of family.
