John & Jen, traditionally a minimally staged show, is updated and re-imagined with high tech influences at the Secret Rose theater in North Hollywood. The story centers around the relationship of two siblings and their diverse struggles growing up in the 60's and 70's, then subsequently a mother and son facing the challenges of single family life in the 80's and 90's. A bold and lush score by Andrew Lippa accompany the poignant and dramatic lyrics by Tom Greenwald.
