Dan Alten is a nationally touring comedian from Louisville, Kentucky, known for his unique blend of intelligence and goofiness. He's a prolific "DIY" performer, having spent over a decade touring the country and doing more than 200 shows a year in a variety of venues, from comedy clubs to punk basements and art galleries.

A show with Dan Alten is a night of "surreal nonsense" and "tight night surreal fun." He's been described as being "like if The Ramones were one guy with a mustache and good jokes." His humor is quirky and twitchy, and he has a knack for making audiences feel like they're on a good psychedelic tripwithout the drugs.
