A rebellious, spirited young woman named Rima accidentally travels through time to 1930s Palestine, where she spends a few days with a similarly spirited young womanher great-grandmother when she was her age. Rima desperately looks for a way home, aka the present, the place she originally desired to escape from. Stuck in Palestine for a few days, she learns the ways of her ancestral past through the eyes of her great-grandmother.
