Family, thank you for your rsvp to Rashad's Celebration of Life on Saturday December 7th at The Magic Theatre!
An important update for you all: If you are able to - at 2pm many folx will be gathering outdoors (rain or shine - please bring appropriate gear!) between the 2 piers [Herbst Pavillion and the Festival Pavillion Piers] for a ceremony next to the water led by Jessica Recinos, SPULU and Ashley Smiley.
The Processional will start at 2:45pm leading upstairs to the Magic Theatre. For accessibility needs, please direct those guests to use the elevator. We'll be breaking bread after the program, and we invite you to join us.
For those who have not done so already, we are using the event to raise much needed funds for Rashad's Family. We encourage you to donate to the GoFundMe on the link below.

Lastly, Rashad's Altar is open at 2pm at the Magic Theatre's Cathedral Space. We invite you to bring an item to contribute. If you would like that item returned to you when you leave, please attach a note to it with your name and cell phone number.

The Campo Santo and Magic Theatre family invites you to a gathering in honor of the beloved Rashad Pridgen. Our brother Rashad Pridgen is dearly missed by his family, friends and the extensive artistic and cultural communities he served while with us. Rashad aka SoulNubian was a transcendent artist and spiritual practitioner who cultivated Masquerade, voguing and ballroom culture in the SF Bay Area and beyond - and we offer up this space as a place to honor, reflect and celebrate his life, works and relations.
We ask that you bring something to build Rashads altar, and donate to fundraising on behalf of his family and friends.
