Thank you for joining FAHM in celebrating our 10th anniversary of promoting midwifery in Haiti.
Almost all global maternal deaths could be prevented by ensuring that all women have access to quality, respectful and equitable maternity care. Midwives could deliver 87 percent of all essential sexual, reproductive, maternal and newborn health services.
Healthcare is a basic human right.
Thank you for helping keep birth safe for mothers and babies in Haiti.
With gratitude,
The FAHM Team

2024 marks FAHMs 10th anniversary. We invite you to join us in celebrating a decade of dedication and support of the midwifery profession in Haiti.
Foundation for Advancement of Haitian Midwives, Inc (FAHM) is a 501(c)(3) and educational non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and aiding Haitian midwives, midwifery associations, education programs and midwifery students living in Haiti, where there are high rates of maternal and neonatal morbidity and mortality. FAHM envisions a future in which midwifery is a viable profession, midwifery education programs are sustainable and every community throughout Haiti has access to the midwifery model of care which has been proven to decrease maternal and infant morbidity and mortality. |
