Could cultivating better workplace cultures that enable workers and volunteers feel more consciously capable and resilient through skills development, hold the key to future organisational success? Award winning training providers Mortal Fools think so!

This free webinar invites organisational representatives, leaders, people managers and decision makers to come together to explore what it means to invest in people through professional development alongside crafting people centric cultures!

First, we had, The Great Resignation and Silent Quitting; then emerged the epidemic of Burn Out from years of toxic Hustle Culture and The Great Exhaustion  thanks to the historic normalisation of unrealistic workloads coupled with the expectation of high performance on skeleton resources. And in 2023, Gen Z are entering the workforce, looking for organisations to work in that align with their values, provide enrichment, and want work life balance.

AND the reality for many sectors is high levels of sickness, a struggle to retain and attract talent, low levels of employer loyalty and work motivation, employment gaps and recruitment challenges, folks leaving industries/sectors all together.

We are seeing this play out in real time.

Mortal Fools will hold space across this digital taster webinar to explore whats going on in peoples lives right now, the role all types of organisations can have in being people centric and scaffolding positive modern working environments that meet the needs of people for optimum functioning in the workplace.

Mortal Fools will share their experience and insights managing this in their own organisation whilst rapidly growing and supporting other organisations like Muckle LLP and North Tyneside VODA to do the same through their CONNECT programme of work - you will hear about:

The Great Resignation, The Epidemic of Burn Out and Gen Z workforce  what is happening!?
Chronic stress as a silent threat to business success and wellbeing; how it manifests individually, in teams and in organisations.
The link between investing in people via professional and personal development and wellbeing and consequently, higher levels of resilience, performance levels, ability to take on new challenges and commitment to their workplace.
Case studies of how Mortal Fools have supported organisations to invest in their people through the CONNECT strand of their work, offering professional development whilst supporting the evolution a new workplace culture.
Case studies of how Mortal Fools have supported voluntary and public sector organisations and their staff and/or volunteers through CONNECT.
A few practical ways to boost personal and team resilience with tips on how to do that well, and meaningfully as a good business and employer should.

Webinar is participatory and will include time for facilitated conversation to explore the topic as peers.
