A cultural festival featuring performances, workshops/demonstrations in San Francisco Japantown. Presented by East and West Japan Center Mall and Genryu Arts.
Celebrating Japanese cultural arts with live performances in taiko drumming, karate, Japanese folk dance, Okinawan eisa and dance, karate, and the Gintenkai National Project. Also featuring hands-on activities and demonstrations in origami paper folding, shodo Japanese brush calligraphy, and washi ningyo paper dolls.

- July 8th Gidayu Shamisen 2:00pm-3:00pm Japan Center East Mall, Studio Gen #505
All workshop sessions will be held in the Japan Center Malls and will require registration through Brown Paper Tickets as each free workshop session is limited to 15 participants. Others may sign up to watch.
