Nigunim and zmiros are songs of devotion and praise: spiritual Hasidic-Jewish chants whose purpose is to induce a state of piety and ecstasy in both performer and listener. With Nigunim Trio, vocalist/accordionist Lorin Sklamberg and trumpeter Frank London (co-founders of the Klezmatics) are joined by pianist Rob Schwimmer to perform these beautiful melodies with their uniquely styled musical and spiritual imprint. The trio will be joined at Yidstock by special guest clarinetist Merlin Shepherd.
