Josh Dolgin aka Socalled is a musician, performer, composer, and producer based in Montreal. The foremost practitioner of klezmer hip-hop, Josh has worked in a myriad of styles on and his own and with artists including Theodore Bikel, Enrico Macias, Roxanne Shante, Gonzales, DJ Assault, David Krakauer, and Fred Wesley. He can often be found in the sheet-music archives of the Yiddish Book Center searching for new material and inspiration. Socalled explores his creative process in conversation with Seth Rogovoy.
