After a successful season, which closed this past December at The Glove with the wonderful "Holiday Suites and Sweets", The Caroga Arts Collective's Ensemble returns to The Glove under the baton, bow, and leadership of CAE founder and celebrated cellist, Kyle Price, with orchestral arrangements of:
John Rutter: Suite for Strings 1st movement Josh Henderson: A Bop for Bridge Dmitri Shostakovich: String Quartet No. 8 Ludwig van Beethoven: String Quartet No. 11 in F minor Op. 95
Inspired by the serene, beautiful area and inviting community, each of the Caroga Lake Music Festival artists is dedicated to presenting chamber music in this relaxed, naturally intimate backdrop of the Adirondacks.
As the best-kept secret in Upstate NY, our artists come to the little town of Caroga Lake, NY from across the world. These artists hail from top performance groups and have attended premiere music conservatories including the Juilliard School, Curtis Institute of Music, Yale School of Music, Cleveland Institute of Music, New England Conservatory, Eastman School of Music, among many others. Caroga Lake Music Festival artists have won various prizes at international solo and chamber music competitions and regularly appear in notable media programs.
The Glove Theatre presents the Caroga Arts Collective as part of an on-going partnership between these two historic organizations!
