Meet them halfway with love, peace and persuasion, and expect them to rise for the occasion.
Inspired by a true story, The Star of the County Down is a family drama with music based on an old Irish folk song and the building of Northern Irelands great reservoir, The Silent Valley. At a time when the rest of the world is at the Great War, Northern Ireland battles in the War of Independence for their biggest fight with England. Ulster counties are the hands of the daughters of the Kincade family: the eldest who brings a unity to the Irish community, and the youngest who joins forces with the Irish terrorist opposition. A feud between Irelands divided East and West becomes a war between sisters of whom will fight to the death for what they believe to be the honor of their family legacy.
