Music & Potlucks, a community organization, in cooperation with the CliffDwellers Club, presents Songs of Hope and Struggle.
Mark Dvorak, "Chicagos official troubadour" from the legendary Old Town School of Folk Music, will perform the timeless songs of Pete Seeger and Woody Guthrie that speak of hope, freedom, peace and justice. Eve Moran (CD10) will talk on the struggle for womens suffrage and its aftermath. A special performance by critically-acclaimed soprano Kimberly E Jones will inspire and lift up our human spirit.
Time: 7 p.m.
This is a Zoom program and sign-in information will be emailed to ticket holders the day of the event. Be sure to to provide a valid email address with your ticket order.
The cost of the program is $10. Ticket purchase is required to receive the Zoom link.
After paying program costs, all remaining funds will be distributed to Beyond Hunger, www.gobeyondhunger.org.
