This six week parenting group, led by Jacqueline Rhew, LCPC, and Robin Choquette, Psy D, will help parents to provide critical social and emotional support to their children. Jacqueline and Robin coauthored the workbook, Successful Parenting: create your custom plan for raising independent children into adulthood, now available on Amazon. Jacqueline and Robin have combined over 35 years working with professionals and parents clinically and have provided over 400 training sessions both locally and nationally on a wide array of topics relating to parenting strategies and raising resilient children through goal-directed parenting. Their approach to purposeful parenting has helped hundreds of parents develop plans that are unique to their families, as well as gain confidence in their parenting strategies and help raise healthy and successful young people.

Parents will learn key skills on how to help kids manage their feelings, problem solve, and how to be socially responsible. Jacqueline and Robin, joined by guest experts, will cover strategies for parents, including how to model healthy coping, how to get connected to your child and much more. Parents will gain insights on purposeful vs. emotional reactions and the benefit and importance of coping skills, self care, and communication.
