Children of the Setting Sun Productions pulls out the stops to present Father Pat Twohy's beloved epic poem.

The evening includes performances in English and local indigenous language, as well as music delivered by many voices and an orchestra. Visual collaboration between Lummi and The Lookout Arts Quarry's Heather (Noodles) Sparks and Jason LeClaire, Plus the stunning orchestral arrangements of Mark Nichols.

Children of the Setting Sun is becoming well-known for it's award-winning film work as well as the company's successful theater shows, "WHAT ABOUT THOSE PROMISES" & "SONNY SIXKILLER BUYS THE REDSKINS". "BEGINNINGS" tells an important and beautiful story of survival and a thriving culture that exists right here on the Salish Sea.

BARNSTAR, located very near the Silver Reef Casino, is typically used as an upscale wedding venue, but is also a wonderful place to see a show. It seats 200, with not a bad seat in the house (or "barn" to be more accurate.)
