So many YA books...so little time. Epic Reads invites readers of all ages to join a round-table where you'll get to strike up conversation with authors {SO MANY AUTHORS} who will gab about their books and other fan favorites. A purchase of any of the authors' new books is required to participate (and you can bring books from home!). Small author dish sesh + killer YA books = a booklover's dream, courtesy of Epic Reads.

Join us to enthuse with Adam Silvera, Abigail Hing Wen, and Farah Naz Rishi! The audience will be divided into small groups that the authors will rotate between, so you'll have a chance to speak with each author.

Infinity Son by Adam Silvera
Balancing epic and intensely personal stakes, bestselling author Adam Silvera's Infinity Son is a gritty, fast-paced adventure about two brothers caught up in a magical war generations in the making.

Growing up in New York, brothers Emil and Brighton always idolized the Spell Walkers - a vigilante group sworn to rid the world of specters. While the Spell Walkers and other celestials are born with powers, specters take them, violently stealing the essence of endangered magical creatures.

Brighton wishes he had a power so he could join the fray. Emil just wants the fighting to stop. The cycle of violence has taken a toll, making it harder for anyone with a power to live peacefully and openly. In this climate of fear, a gang of specters has been growing bolder by the day.

Then, in a brawl after a protest, Emil manifests a power of his own - one that puts him right at the heart of the conflict and sets him up to be the heroic Spell Walker Brighton always wanted to be. Brotherhood, love, and loyalty will be put to the test, and no one will escape the fight unscathed.

Adam Silvera is the New York Times bestselling author of What If Its Us, They Both Die at the End, More Happy Than Not, and History Is All You Left Me. He was named a Publishers Weekly Flying Start for his debut. Adam was born and raised in the Bronx, and he was a bookseller before shifting to children's publishing. He has worked at a literary development company, a creative writing website for teens, and as a book reviewer of children's and young adult novels. He is tall for no reason and lives in Los Angeles, CA. Visit him online at www.adamsilvera.com.

Loveboat, Taipei by Abigail Hing Wen
Perfect for fans of Jenny Han and Sarah Dessen, and praised as an intense rush of rebellion and romance by #1 New York Times bestselling author Stephanie Garber, this romantic and layered Own Voices debut from Abigail Hing Wen is a dazzling, fun-filled romp.

"Our cousins have done this program," Sophie whispers. "Best kept secret. Zero supervision." And just like that, Ever Wong's summer takes an unexpected turn. Gone is Chien Tan, the strict educational program in Taiwan that Ever was expecting. In its place, she finds Loveboat: a summer-long free-for-all where hookups abound, adults turn a blind eye, snake-blood sake flows abundantly, and the nightlife runs nonstop.

But not every student is quite what they seem: Ever is working toward becoming a doctor but nurses a secret passion for dance. Rick Woo is the Yale-bound child prodigy bane of Ever's existence whose perfection hides a secret. Boy-crazy, fashion-obsessed Sophie Ha turns out to have more to her than meets the eye. And under sexy Xavier Yeh's shell is buried a shameful truth he'll never admit. When these students' lives collide, it's guaranteed to be a summer Ever will never forget.

Abigail Hing Wen holds a BA from Harvard and a JD from Columbia, but like Ever, she is obsessed with musicals. When she's not writing stories or listening to her favorite score, she is busy working as an attorney in venture capital and artificial intelligence in Silicon Valley, where she lives with her husband and two sons. Loveboat, Taipei is her first novel.

I Hope You Get This Message by Farah Naz Rishi
In this high concept YA novel debut that's We All Looked Up meets The Sun Is Also a Star, three teens must face down the mistakes of their past after they learn that life on Earth might end in less than a week. News stations across the country are reporting mysterious messages that Earth has been receiving from a planet - Alma - claiming to be its creator. If they're being interpreted correctly, in seven days Alma will hit the kill switch on their colony Earth.

True or not, for teenagers Jesse Hewitt, Cate Collins, and Adeem Khan, the prospect of this ticking time bomb will change their lives forever. Jesse, who has been dealt one bad blow after another, wonders if it even matters what happens to the world. Cate, on the other hand, is desperate to use this time to find the father she never met. And Adeem, who hasn't spoken to his estranged sister in years, must find out if he has it in him to forgive her for leaving.

With only a week to face their truths and right their wrongs, Jesse, Cate, and Adeem's paths collide as their worlds are pulled apart.

Farah Rishi is a Pakistani-American lawyer who specialized in environmental law, perhaps influenced by her upbringing in the forest-filled mushroom capital of the world, otherwise known as Kennet Square, PA. A co-founder and blogger for the Muslim Squad, her writing has appeared on Kill Screen Magazine and VICE, but when she noticed the lack of Muslim representation in the YA books she loved, she turned to writing novels. But before that, she was an editorial assistant for a Big Five publisher. She now lives in Philadelphia, PA.
