Saturday December 28th - 3rd annual Pre-New Years celebration with Foxglove and introducing Gene Parsons' The New Nashville West at The Caspar Community Center 15051 Caspar Rd, Caspar 95420.
THE NEW NASHVILLE WEST - Gene Parsons describes his newest project as danceable Country Rock with a flavor of Funk/Blues and Cajun. With Parsons on Pedal Steel, electric banjo and harmonica Johnny Bush on drums, Morgan Daniel on electric StringBender guitar and Lily Parsons on bass, this stellar group of veteran musicians will chime in on 3 and 4 part vocal harmonies on favorites from The Flying Burrito Brothers, The Byrds, and of course some originals as well.
FOXGLOVE - This group of meticulous musicians has been slinging their tunes on the Mendocino Coast for 17 years. Known for their tight 3 part harmonies, intricate instrumentation and songs (many original) that speak the truth about country life, love and loss. Morgan Daniel on guitar and vocals, Johnny Bush on bass and vocals, Gwyneth Moreland on accordion and vocals and Booi Volk on Mandolin and banjo serve up tasty tunes that will leave both a smile on your face and a gentle tug on your heartstrings.
Put on your dancing boots for a post-holiday, pre-New Year celebration at The Caspar Community Center Saturday, December 28th. Doors open at 7:00pm, music starts at 7:30pm. Tickets are $25 and available at Harvest Market in Fort Bragg and online at brownpapertickets.com. No-host bar to benefit the Caspar Community.
