Award-winning classical guitarist Leonardo Garcia will perform a concert of solo music, duets, and a trio featuring the music of Heitor Villa-Lobos, AgustÃn Barrios, Astor Piazzolla, Roland Dyens, and Sergio Assad, at the Piedmont Center for the Arts on November 17th at 5:00 PM. He will be joined by his sons, Max (16) and Charlie (12), to perform the world premier of Grammy-award-winning composer Sergio Assads Tres Cenas Brasileiras II for two guitars. This new work was dedicated to Max and Charlie and written in February 2019. |
