Our program includes Bach's great sonata in A major for violin and obligato harpsichord, a trio sonata arranged for violin, cello and continuo, and an organ trio arranged for violin, bassoon, and cello. Interspersed are Couperin's 8th Concert from "Les Gouts Reunis" (The Tastes Reunited), a duo for cello and bassoon, and a solo harpsichord suite.
Performing on period instruments: Amelia Roosevelt, violin Sarah Stone, cello Stephanie Corwin, bassoon Gabe Shuford, harpsichord |
