CHEESE & BEER! BEER & CHEESE! It doesn't get much better than this folks! Join us Sunday, August 11th for a special tasting event! From 2-3pm, we'll be partnering with our friends from Weiland's Market to bring you 4 cheeses paired with beers. Kent Rand, cheesemonger from Weilands, will be on site to discuss the pairings of cheese and craft beers. What you want more? How about mustard, pretzels, corn nuts regular nuts, raffles, and an event pint glass?!
But wait, there's more! We'll also have Celeste Nolan from Laurel Valley Creamery on hand to talk about her farm, her cheese and we'll screen the movie Farmsteaders immediately after the tasting. (BTW If you don't like beer & cheese but want to see the flick, that's cool. Just come at 3 - the screening itself is free to attend.)
FARMSTEADERS is about Celeste Nolan and how her family save their historic Ohio dairy farm from failing by converting it into the Ohio artisan cheese making operation. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Ohio Cheese Guild. |
