Join us at our newest location, The Northman Beer & Cider Garden along the Chicago Riverwalk for a special Cider Cruise aboard one of the fine boats in Chicago's First Lady Fleet. There will be numerous producers sampling cider around the boat, as well as hors d'oeuvres from Chef Bubba, gourmet sausages from Chef Martin and some sweet treats. During the 2 hour cruise, we will also host a few short talks on the history of cider, as well as highlights of the architechtural history along the Chicago River.
Tickets covers the architectural cruise itself, as well as all of the food and all of the cider during the cruise. There will be a very wide variety of cider available, as well as a local craft beer brewer pouring a beer or two. Cash bar for those who like to enjoy cocktails, etc.
The Northman Riverwalk location is just east of Michigan Avenue Bridge, along the South bank of the river (between Michigan and Columbus Drive). The boat departs at 7pm from Chicago's First Lady boat launch (112 E. Wacker Drive), directly next door to The Northman Beer & Cider Garden. The cruise will last around 2 hours, and we will return to the dock about 9pm; but guests are invited to stay aboard and enjoy cider up until 9:30pm! |
