Be right in the action on the Circle Line Sightseeing Cruise spectator boat at the 27th annual Great North River Tugboat Race & Competition on Sunday, Sept. 1 in Manhattan!

Get onboard the Spectator Boat and see the whole event up-close. Cruise alongside the tugs in the big race as they go up to starting line at Pier i located at W. 70th Street and back down to finish line at Pier 84! Boarding begins at 10:15 am, departure is at 10:30 am from pier 83 (located at W. 43rd Street & 12th Avenue in Manhattan)so you will be on the water before the parade! Watch epic battles for supremacy in the on water nose-to-nose pushing and line-toss contests when tugs arrive at finish line at Pier 84.

There is more fun for the whole family after the race! You can test your mettle in the amateur line-toss competition or try your luck in the ever-popular spinach-eating contest on Pier 84 in Hudson River Park after tugboats tie up at the pier. Stay around for the fun on trophies awarded for winners of best dressed tug crew, best female & male tattoo & best mascot.
