Taken from Margaret Atwood's "The Handmaid's Tale," the term gender treachery refers to homosexual sex acts, which are punishable by death in Atwood's dystopian world. Here at GTwJC, we are redefining this term originally charged with violent oppression as resistance by way of radical expression. We assert that our 'treacheries': our Queer-ness, our Trans-ness, our Black-ness, our Latinx-ness, and beyond, are actually our most powerful and radiant attributes. So we will do just that. RADIATE.
