Sharing The Music Teacher Training Day

This is a full day introductory training course for practising and aspiring voice workshop teachers, choir leaders and circle singing facilitators.

Do you feel inspired to lead others in song? Susie has been leading singing workshops and choirs since the age of 18 and has many skills and inspiring insights to share.

Susie will sharing packing in as much as she can of what she has developed over the past 12 years of being a full time singing workshop facilitator.

During the weekend Susie will cover a range of teaching skills including:

~ Becoming a confident and clear teacher
~ Leading in a heart-felt, centred, inclusive and relaxed way
~ Enabling a real listening mood in your group
~ Integrating warm-up techniques into the session
~ Working with different vocal ranges
~ Introducing and encouraging improvisation
~ Inspiring every unique miracle of a voice to be free!

There are plenty of opportunities during the day to put what has been taught into practice and also learn from each other, as the participants always have many gifts to share.

This day is limited to 18 places, so that participants can get the most out of the course.
Following the day, participants will receive a digital course pack which includes:

~ Full recordings of the whole weekend (so you can go over the course again at your leisure)
~ Course notes
~ Resource information
~ A vocal ranges chart for teaching in 4 part harmony
~ Sharing the Music Start Up CD, which includes audio parts for 12 simple songs, song teaching notes and a lyrics sheet
