301 Derby Dames Boot Camp is the place to go to learn about roller derby, build muscle and endurance, have fun, as well as build relationships with fellow skaters.
Boot Camp is the perfect place to learn how to roller skate or brush up on your skating skills.
We will teach you everything you need to know: proper skating form and stance, agility, how to properly fall, how to stop, and everything in between that will allow you to become a successful and safe skater.
Our boot camp sessions are run by members of the coaching staff, accompanied by help from the current 301 Derby Dames veteran skaters. Our system is built to develop skaters to their full potential, regardless of prior skill or experience. Our league values a collective learning approach and provides motivation, and empowerment to each individual in a safe and positive environment.
Boot Camp will be held on Monday and Wednesday nights from 7-9 pm.
The schedule is as follows:
10/1, 10/3, 10/8, 10/10, 10/15, 10/17, and 10/22.
Skaters are required to wear safety equipment including knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards, mouth guard, and a helmet.
The 301 Derby Dames have a limited supply of free loaner gear.
Interested referees may wear quad skates or blades.
*All skaters must be 18 years or older! |
