Longtime Muddy Waters guitarist, Bob Margolin will be performing a small intimate show IN THE ROUND at McCutcheon Music.
From 1973-1980 Margolin played in Muddy Waters band, appearing on all of the albums Muddy made during that ear and performed at special shows including The Bands The Last Waltz. Bob still honors Muddy Waters in his music and special shows such as this In The Round at McCutcheon Music.
After nearly 50 years of playing the blues, Margolin has played with most of the icons of the music world, including Eric Clapton, Johnny Winter, Greg Allman, and countless more. He is the link to many of the great blues artist now gone but for future blues players. Drawing on ability to entertain while educating and interacting with his audience.
This performance hosted by Chuck Purcell, will have Bob performing with established and new upcoming local talent. Doug Hart, Johnny Fink, Jim McCutcheon, Joe Tellmann, and Chris Yakopcic.
The following evening, July 15th Margolin will be headlining the Dayton Blues Festival at Riverscape with Franklins Joe Tellmann Band as his backing group. |
