In a dystopian future, brutal civil war ends in a fragile peace.
Determined to rebuild a democratic government, two generations of family struggle to love one another, keep each other safe, and navigate conflicting political loyalties. Inside the home, parents and daughters all disagree about how to move the country forward.
A soldier makes a bold sacrifice in the face of opposing responsibilities to family and country. Her daughters come to adulthood confronting wrenching choices. Two sisters must choose between following their parents' directives and their own sense of justice. Will the simmering Civil War reignite or can peace prevail?
