The A Splendid Day Out airship will land in Morecambe for its fifth year of top-hole entertainment. Presented by The League of Splendid another weekend of astounding entertainment and events take place throughout Morecambe at The Platform,The Carleton,The Winter Gardens & Morecambe Promenade.
This Year's Theme is "Around The World In 80 Days".
Starting at the Carleton with the "Krak'n Night Out" on Friday the 1st of June with an eclectic offering from "The Ladies of Burlesque", Well known comedian Andrew O'Neil, & Buffo's Wake.
Saturday the 2nd and Sunday the 3rd of June will see The Platform host a marvellous itinerant Steampunk artisan market and entertainment from the beautiful voices of Rachel Mercer & Miss Harri Dean, to Guitar soloists, Sam Rutter & David Stott (guitarist from Ward XIV).
Outside we will take you on Philieas Foggs Journey, we will have a 2nd market and music and merriment with The Old Time Rags, The Carlisle Cloggers, Chinese Lion Dancers, Birds of Prey, Cowboys and Dinosaurs and still more acts and events to be confirmed.
Centre stage will host Victor & The Bully, Alice's Night Circus, Kiss Like Ether, Montague Jacques Fromage, and much much more.
Dancing the night away at our famous Masked Ball at the Alhambra Carleton, with Dead of Night, Aldous Pinch & Biscuit head & The Biscuit Badges, this is surely an event not to be missed.
Join us in your finest attire at THE Steampunk and Victorian event on the North West Coast of this fine land. |
