Green Business Networking Luncheons are held quarterly on the 3rd Monday of the month. Networking begins at 11:30am, speaker and lunch begin at noon.
Monday, March 18th-Green Healthcare
Guest speaker:Phil Kercher, Facilities Manager and Head of the Green Team at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center.
Monday, June 17th-Green Beauty 11:30am-1pm
Guest speaker: Annie Grieve of Green Salon and Day Spa. "Green Beauty" goes far beyond cosmetics alone; Green Beauty includes shampoos, baby lotions, cleansers, sunscreens, shaving creams and every personal care item in between! Green Beauty includes the ingredients, sourcing, manufacturing, and packaging of these everyday items and the health, social, and environmental implications that accompany our choices about them.
Annie Grieve, co-owner of Green Salon and Day Spa, will provide information on what to avoid & what to look for in personal care items, how consumer demand has shifted industry trends and how businesses are responding. She will also present on additional green practices she has incorporated into her business operations and how it strengthened her bottom line.
