Architalx - The Gala

You are invited to join the celebration of Architalx's 25th Anniversary with a creative black tie event in the Portland Museum of Art's Great Hall and Café on February 2nd, 2013.

Imagine entering the third floor gallery of the Museum and seeing a 17-foot tall tower of windows layered with images that display inspiring works of architecture, landscape architecture and interior design, over which gently cascades text from 25 years if Architalx lectures. Touch the tower and the images ripple and change. Walk through portals, which flanking either side of the tower, and use the interactive stations to hear the voices of past Architalx lecturer's and their compelling messages.

Attendees will be given the opportunity to take guided tours of the Exhibition: Voices of Design in the Third Floor Gallery during the event.

There will be a series of "photo booths" for all guests to enjoy in the Café area, with the background filled with the pleasant sound of piano music. Hors d'oeuvres and desserts will be served by wait staff, and drinks will be available at the bar.
Ticket price includes a complimentary drink ticket.
