Sara Milonovich & Daisycutter are a band of adventurous musicians from New York's many and varied music scenes. Called "acoustic and electric, agnostic and eclectic", it's a whirling mix of americana-folk, roots-rock, oldtime-newgrass, jamband-celtodelic-worldbeat... it's alt-country, alt-folk, alt-rock, alt-everything!
Tonight the quartet will feature singer/fiddler Sara Milonovich (Richard Shindell, Cathie Ryan, The McKrells, Pete Seeger), with guitarist Greg Anderson (Eileen Ivers, Whirligig, Doctor Nerve), and the stellar rhythm section of Leo Traversa (Steve Kimock, Tania Maria, Don Byron) on bass and Steve Holloway (Solas, Jill Sobule, Riverdance) on drums and percussion.
