The Atheist Film Festival, created in 2009, is world's first film festival dedicated to showcasing feature films, documentaries, shorts and animated cinema created especially for the secular community. Whether you're an atheist, agnostic, skeptic, secular humanist, heathen, heretic, bright or just a fan of fresh, offbeat cinema that celebrates and encourages reason, critical thinking and freedom of inquiry both inside and outside of the movie theater, the Atheist Film Festival is for you.

Our festival lineup also includes exciting Q&A with film directors, and an award for best short film submission to this year's festival. Festival passes provide admission to all films and talks on the day of the festival, August 11. View the festival show times and film descriptions on our website.

Directors' Reception: Join our visiting directors, festival staff and other Atheist Film Festival supporters on Friday, August 10th at 7:00 PM for dinner, drinks, and conversation at the historic Bowman House in the Cow Hollow neighborhood of San Francisco. Exact location will be revealed to attendees the week before the event. Gourmet dinner provided by our hosts, wine provided by Vin Debut and cheesecake provided by Reuschelle's Cheesecakes.

Tickets for the Directors' Reception are also available here for purchase.

$50 - Planetary Supporter Package: includes an invitation to the Directors' Reception and an Atheist Film Festival poster. Supporters will be thanked in the festival program.

$75 - Stellar Supporter Package: includes an invitation to the Director's Reception, VIP Festival Pass, and an Atheist Film Festival poster. Supporters will be thanked in the festival program.
