In Becky Yamamoto's new solo show, "God, I'm Funny," Becky recounts how she abandoned the missionary life to pursue her dream of being on stage.  In her candid story, Yamamoto goes from speaking in tongues to speaking the truth, however revealing and shameful it may be.

BECKY YAMAMOTO is a comedic performer and writer.  She writes her own shows and sometimes acts up in other people's work.  She has most recently joined the comedy group Howdy Stranger. Becky has been a guest on episodes of Jack in A Box, The Burg, The Mimi & Flo Show, and The McGuinness Group.  Theater credits: "Pullman, WA", dir. Young Jean Lee, Chelsea Theatre, London. MEGHAN FINN is a Brooklyn-based director/producer/performer.  In New York, her directing work has been seen at Walkerspace, PS122, 3LD, the Ontological-Hysteric Theater & Incubator Arts, Dixon Place, The 13th Street Repertory Theater, HERE Arts Center, The Bushwick Starr, Collective:Unconscious, IRT Space, Theater for the New City and the Prospect Theater Company and NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.  She will direct the premiere of Mac Wellman's 3 2's; or AFAR at Dixon Place this fall.
Ms. Finn assistant directed under Sarah Benson on the acclaimed production of Sarah Kane's Blasted at Soho Rep as well as Polly Stenham's That Face at Manhattan Theater Club.  Other recent directing credits include: Relative Value by Jesse Longman, Futurity by the Lisps for Motherlodge (HERE Arts), Saturn Nights by Jess Barbagallo, Waltz by Corina Copp, Blue Dress Reduction featuring Eliza Bent, E.E. Cummings' HIM, The Fake History of George the Last by Misha Shulman, A Week at the NJ Shore by Valerie Work and three new plays adapted from Felipe Alfau's Locos: A Comedy of Gestures by Scott Adkins, Normandy Sherwood, and Richard Toth for the Bring a Weasel and a Pint of you own blood Festival. MFA Directing, Brooklyn College, Member of the 2009 Lincoln Center Director's Lab, 2009/10 Soho Rep Writer/Director Lab, New Georges' The Jam, co-founder of the longest lunch (2002-present).
