11 performers from Zendegi Theatre in Iran join Sun.Ergos to create The Chairs, a theatre and dance performance with live music. We draw inspiration from the classic Persian poem, The Conference of the Birds, and the personal journeys of the participants. Actor, Robert Greenwood, and dancer Dana Luebke, are joined by Zendegi director Ja'far Majyari, who will also play santur, Amin Sheykhi playing Sitar, singer Farshad Nadaei, and 8 other performers. The performance will include both English and Farsi language, and is designed to communicate to non speakers of either language. |
