For over 25 years, The Castle Craig Players have played a vital role in the community, culture and revitalization of Meriden by providing professional quality, affordable live theater in the heart of downtown. Founded in 1992, we have worked tirelessly, often against great odds, to share our love with all who walk through our doors.
As an all volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, producing a full season of plays and musicals is not an inexpensive task. Believe it or not - ticket sales only cover 60% of our operating costs.
In addition to production expenses, we are continuing to make improvements to our building so that you, our patrons, can enjoy your night at the theater. Current projects include required upgrades to our HVAC unit and plumbing system, as well as replacing the front windows and door, upgrading building insulation, additional lighting equipment and more.
In keeping with our commitment to provide professional quality, affordable theater, your support is needed to help us meet our growing financial demands.
