Special presentation by Entre Nosotros by Fanny Ara with Jason McGuire, Felix De Lola, Clare Rodriguez, Yaelisa, Melissa Cruz and guest artist Mele Martinez.
Over the past decade, Fanny has been one of the most important performers in the country, and is recognized and celebrated by flamenco enthusiasts around the world.
Fanny has regularly been featured in Flamenco Festivals including Lluvia Flamenca, Tucson Flamenco Festival, and Dallas Flamenco Festival. She has also been invited to international festivals such as the Australia Festival de Guitarra. Furthermore, she has toured in Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Dubai, Seychelles, and throughout Europe.
Some of her most notable performances include a collaboration with the Eva Longoria Foundation, performance at the George V (Paris) with the grand pianist Diego Amador and at the Nokia Theater (Los Angeles) with the world-renown Antonio Carmona in 2013.
In April 2014, she accompanied by the incredible pianists Marielle and Katia Labeque at the Davis Symphony Hall, performing one of the most famous West Side Story songs: America. Most recently, Fanny was the principal dancer at the Washington Operas season of Carmen.
