Le Beaujolais Nouveau est arrivé!

Celebrate the arrival of the 2014 Beaujolais Nouveau with the Alliance Française de Sacramento! The event will be held from 6 to 9 pm Saturday, November 22 at Silverado Design Center, 5250 South Watt Ave. Bring your friends!

Officially released for sale after midnight on the third Thursday of November amid global fanfare, Beaujolais Nouveau is a young, fun, drinkable wine. Fermented for just a few weeks, the wine is made from the Gamay grape, which by law must be harvested by hand and grown in the Beaujolais region.

Proceeds benefit the Alliance Française de Sacramento, a nonprofit organization offering a wide range of French language courses for adults and children as well as French cultural events throughout the year.
