Kate Jordan and Bruno Augusto, artistic partners of Arts & Above, present "experience" as part of their 2014 Tour Oakland Series.
An event of original sound and movement choreographed through installation and performance based art.
Carved especially for Temescal Arts Center, "experience" includes Bruno's new work angolanamerican, and Kate's new work afilhada.

Founded in 2014, Arts & Above brings to life the creative energies of Kate Jordan and Bruno Augusto. Simply put, Arts & Above is Kate and Bruno. Together, they are wholly driven by the desire to present works drawing from human experiences. Arts & Above's productions deliberately collapse conventional boundaries between the audience, movement, objects, sounds, and texts, not for the sake of creating chaos, but to encapsulate specific moments and provide the viewers with glimpses of a short journey; a picture in time. |
