Based on the popular blog "Kidneys and Pinups" and told through movement and dance, Dancing in the Storm is the story of a woman with a rare blood disease, failing kidneys and an uncertain future. Feeling isolated from the world and trapped in a body that's falling apart, she reaches out through the internet, unaware of how many people are watching her story. In the midst of endless tests, medical mishaps and unbearable pain, she comes to discover that even a fight for survival can be transformed into a thing of beauty. |
